Hi,
today I tried running my Ubuntu-Installation via netboot, but
specifieing "ip=dhcp root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=auto" did not deliver the
desired results. The reason is a test of the BOOT-variable in initrd's
/init-script. You must add an additional option "boot=nfs" to the
kernel-commandline to get what you want, but that is a useless overhead,
so i would suggest to apply the following patch.
Additionaly that test is stupid because BOOT while never be empty at
that line. It is always set via /conf/initramfs.conf which is sourced
above in the /init-script.
Bye.
