How are you exactly editing the DSDT? It's a huge file, and what exactly
is causing the problem?

Are these the correct commands to extract the DSDT?

sudo cat /proc/acpi/dsdt > DSDT.dat
iasl -d DSDT.dat # disassemble to create DSDT.dsl


Sorry, but I haven't modified the DSDT before, and I really don't want to try to apply one of the edited ones here because they are PC specific.

I'll get Ubuntu installed (actually in Windows 7 right now), and extract
my DSDT for you. :)

Hopefully we'll be able to create a post with all the DSDT fixes. ;)

I'm so glad we're having some progress here!
