Have installed mesa updates now.

I am on
mesa 7.4-0ubuntu2
drm 2.4.9~git20090416.07646002-0ubuntu0tormod
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.6.99.1+git20090416.b9716b83-0ubuntu0tormod

and under .30RC2 with UXA, X freezes even before I have got a greeter.

"bad" Register dump attached - can't think of a way to get a "good"
register dump given that X hangs straight away...!
