There are plans to have a linux-ports-meta package, but as you can see
from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/ubuntu-intrepid-ports-
meta.git;a=blob;f=meta-
source/debian/control;h=2a0d1274178b068e3979927a0371f7076dac6f64;hb=6261a2fc1945ab943303aae715a153cbf143fec7
the produced binary names are not going to match these legacy names.

As the packages above are no longer built for anything, having them
exist just because they might hide a bug in the installers seems a
dangerous choice: it vastly increases the chances that we'll need to
have a late upload of linux-ports-meta and hope it works, rather than
exposing the fact that it's broken now, and looking to fix the various
seeds, meta-packages, and image building scripts to use the new names.
