Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image
The kernel 2.6.27 detects the following ioports in the motherboard MSI
Fuzzy GME965:
0800-087f : 0000:00:1f.0
0800-087f : pnp 00:08
0800-0803 : ACPI PM1a_EVT_BLK
0804-0805 : ACPI PM1a_CNT_BLK
0808-080b : ACPI PM_TMR
0810-0815 : ACPI CPU throttle
0820-0820 : ACPI PM2_CNT_BLK
0828-082f : ACPI GPE0_BLK
0860-087f : iTCO_wdt
It seems this is done with a PCI quirk.
According to the motherboard manual the I/O Map for the ACPI I/O Space
is: 0400-045F
Here is the link to the motherboard info page:
http://global.msi.eu/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=388&cat2_no=&cat3_no=&prod_no=1267
The same situation is in the kernel 2.6.24 in Hardy.
** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
