** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: ndiswrapper-common

  1. I'm using Kubuntu 8.04.1
  2. I'm using ndiswrapper-common-1.50.1ubuntu1
  3. After following the Ubuntu ndiswrapper docs, I expect wireless networking to continue working after the first reboot post-install
  4. I am unable to scan for networks, though i have a wlan0 interface, ndiswrapper module is loaded, and the configuration files exist in /etc/ndiswrapper
+
+ I have successfully replicated this bug on every Asus P5B-VM based
+ system I have using TEW-423PI NIC (r8185 chipset)
