Public bug reported:
I have a 802.11a/b/g/n Access point (French triple-play adsl routeur
"Freebox") and was unable to link my laptop since Hardy 2.6.24-21 kernel
update
I write this message from Hardy 2.6.24-19 kernel with who linking to my
essid work great.
I have just tested the 2.6.27 kernel with Intrepid live-cd and obtained
same result :
* iwlist wlan0 scan - see essid of my neighborhood (who get 802.11a/b/g access point) but not my one.
* This is true for any kind of network (unencrypted, wep, wpa, ...)
* I was able to link on a 802.11a/b/g access point of my neighbor.
* Switching my card in mode monitor and using airodump-ng reveal my essid !!
