hello,
the Desktop is in any time freeze with linux-generic all 32bit version at ubuntu 8.04 and later,
but with the linux-386 is the system workly
the system is freeze in recovery mode and with GUI (KDE or Gnome) only on system with CPU intel 2GHz
and ICH7, not with core2duo cpu!
