Public bug reported:

I upgraded a virtual kvm machine from hardy to intrepid today, and the
time is going too fast in the virtual machine.

 The host machine is a ubuntu 8.04 amd64 with kvm. The hardware is a dual core Xeon 3060 @ 2.40 Ghz
The guest is an ubuntu 8.10 amd64
