I have a stepnote 2053t im trying to run ubuntu 8.04 also .. it hangs up
on

[159.619612] input: PC speaker as /devices/platform/pcspkr/input/input8

when i run verbose mode..i installed using wubu...

did anyone every find a solution to this??? i have been trying to keep
up with what you guys are saying but im such a nub... i really want to
run ubuntu on the everex.... LMK!!!!
