[Bug 281762] [NEW] errors while booting with Intrepid or Hardy with updates (grub 1.5 read error, usplash, init...)

I've made a clean install of Intrepid alpha 5 on my hard drive and since
then my PC has difficulties to boot.

i have 3 drives : 1 SATA hard drive (250 Go Samsung Spinpoint SP2504C P120 SATA II) and 2 PATA CD-Rom drives
My hard drive has 3 partitions :
/ (ext3)
swap
/home (ext3)

My motherboard is ASRock Conroe 1333 DVI/H R2.02 (chipset Intel
945G/945GC A2 with onboard graphic Intel GMA 950, sound Realtek ALC888
and LAN Realtek RTL8111B

i've checked both my hard drive (tests + low level format, both provided
by Samsung) and my RAM (memtest) and both are ok.

i have grub 1.5 read error messages or these ones

these screenshots have been made tuesday with Intrepid beta up to date
from main server

I've switched back to hardy and all is fine

very annoying
