sorry to post here being im a bit new to the linux experience, how do i
remove the quiet option? then enable 'proposed'? sorry am using sony
vaio vgn-nr430 and trying to run ubuntu 8.04.1 i386, using live cd it
freezes as soon as i pick either use without installing, check cd, or
install. any help would be appreciated    -d
