[Bug 278967] [NEW] ubuntu not booting sometimes, kernel failures

_sometimes_ when I try to boot I get right after grub some kernel failure messages for a short time, after that the screen turns black. whilst this my machine is beeping enormously loud. today I was able to photograph the failure.
I am running the Intrepid Beta with the newest kernel(2.6.27.4.4).
weirdly this happens not all the time but only once in a while.
