Just for the record, the updated firmware did fix this issue for me (as
stated on the link to Intel's bugzilla), but I'm using a homebrew
2.6.27.7 kernel on Debian Lenny, not Ubuntu. Apparently, that firmware
will be released "officially" any time now by Intel's people.
