Hello,
I am having the exact same issue as everyone else and did not have this
issue in 8.04 but it has become a pain in 8.10.
How do I put in the "pci=noacpi" to test and see if it works on my
machine? If it works how do I make it permanent so I don't have to enter
it again until the problem is fixed.
I think it may be a usb problem of some sort based on what others are
saying. So checking the way it is loading the usb drivers maybe with the
kernel might be the problem? I am not sure but my guess.
Also is there a way to submit any info to the Ubuntu people for my
Laptop for them to look at in trying to figure this out?
Thanks.
