[Bug 272247] Re: System freezes during boot, unless I hold a key down

I now have been working with ibex for a while and the strange thing is
that most of the time this bug is not bothering me anymore. And I mean I
do --not-- use any kernel parameters (I have heard of all kinds of side
effects, so if my system requires the keypress, I just keep the shift
key pressed).

If I start at work in the morning I connect my external monitor, my usb
mouse and a network cable and the system boots nicely. However, as soon
as I reboot the machine I am in trouble. If I return home in the
evening, like 95% of the time everything goes allright and I can boot,
but a reboot gives me troubles again.

I know this sounds strange, but this is truly happening.
