I was able to get 8.10 to install and I had problems until I got my
custom DSDT put into the kernel.  But 8.10 is sooooo freaking slow... So
I ditched ubuntu and its shiny repos. :'( and i went to arch linux...
which asks me during install if i want to use a custom dsdt. :D  So im
runnning arch now and all is well... its sooo freaking fast!!!
