Can you tell for lazy us (me at least) how to do that? :)

Do you have NVidia driver, wifi working?

I recently accidentally upgraded to 2.6.24-17 from repository, now I can't
compile it - running
apt-get source linux-image-generic

downloads 2.6.24-16.30 :(
