strange: fn key stopped working for me entirely.
i can't figure out what caused this change. my
/etc/modprobe.d/options still says:
  options usbhid quirks=0x05ac:0x0230:0x00024800
i haven't changed that.
i suspect perhaps some change that's come down through
software update.

is anyone else seeing this? running hardy heron with
gnome and all the software updates installed.
