Public bug reported:

I'm using hardy, and ndiswrapper version is 1.50-1ubuntu1, and I'm using
the driver bcmwl5.sys from XP.

I have this card, from lspci
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 02)
I have a WPA router next to me, so there is no signal strength problem.

It is really difficult to make ndiswrapper connect to my wpa network. instead there are not problems in unencrypted networks.
After having done some tries it might happen that I get connected. Some other times instead the WPA network is no more discovered 
I will attach log files if you need them
