[Bug 34389] Re: Lid state is incorrect on Dell Inspiron 700m

I confirm the bug on my HP-Compaq nc6120 running Kubuntu Hardy Beta
(kernel v 2.6.24-12). At the suggestion of Paul Sladen, I have opened a
specific bug with the number #206511.


Looks like this is related to bug #140679. Also, check out bug report #157691 for a possible explanation and, more importantly, a  workaround.
