Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image
On a Thinkpad X60s with fairly recent BIOS/firmware and Hardy's 2.6.24
kernel, I get a lot of kernel messages like the following flooding my
log:
thinkpad_acpi: unknown LID-related HKEY event: 0x5010
in my kernel log. This comes from backlight brightness changing, and
seems to be fixed in the upstream kernel by the commit in
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff_plain;h=3b64b51d20d9b633bb2efe63af785a49f8092898
Would be nice to get this into the Hardy kernel.
** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
