Report is no duplicate because sound in Hardy never time no play! Alpha 1 - Alpha 6
With last update kernel 2.6.24-12.20 alpha6 sound mo work:
When I click "Open Volume Control":
first error:
The volume control did not find any elements and/or devices to control. This means either that you don't have the right GStreamer plugins installed, or that you don't have a sound card configured.
You can remove the volume control from the panel by right-clicking the
speaker icon on the panel and selecting "Remove From Panel" from the
menu.
second error:
No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found.
My motherboard P5B-PLUS http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1595&l1=3&l2=11&l3=307&l4=0
