Hi,
I also have the same issue on toshiba Satellite U200-163, with Hardy Heron apha6.
The volume buttons work, but the Fn keys (LCD light, suspend, wifi, etc ...) don't work. The others keys (power, internet, play, pause, stop) also doesn't work, whereas xev sees something for the power button.

# modprobe toshiba-acpi
FATAL: Error inserting toshiba_acpi (/lib/modules/2.6.24-11-generic/kernel/drivers/acpi/toshiba_acpi.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
