Can confirm this bug on my

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x
802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)

Running Hardy with ndiswrapper + all updates (Kernel 2.6.24-17). Can
connect to open wireless networks, but not to encrypted ones. The reason
I am running ndiswrapper is because the madwifi-driver has some troubles
with my specific model (ar5006eg rev 1 I believe).

I hope this gets fixed. I've become addicted to Ubuntu and really don't
feel like switching distros. Unfortunately, encrypted wireless has
become one of the essential features these days.
