[Bug 216221] Re: Samsung Q70 - error while modprobing video, also can't adjust backlight

My Q70 boots up ubunut 8.04.1 without any problems but I cannot adjust brightness.
I've already tried the keys on the keyboard, any brightness setting programm from the repros and writing a value to /proc/acpi/video/NVID/LCD/brightness. I'm a bit afraid of trying to install the drivers via envy since i have not read anything about anybody solving the problem with it.
