Why has this bug been closed as "Fix Released"?

The real fix has been only released with kernel 2.6.25.4, the backport
that comes with the 2.6.24-19 kernel prevents the kernel from crashing,
but leaves the network adapter unusable.

Please reopen this bug as it is NOT fixed!
