Backing this out of 6.06.2, since it still does not work. Bjoern
Boschmann kindly tested the 6.06.2 CD on an X4100 with this controller:

0000:02:03.0 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1064
PCI-X Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 02)

I'll attach a screenshot from booting (which doesn't tell much, though).
