Hello.

I am facing also facing this issue. My kernel version is
2.6.22-14-generic and I'm using my laptop -- this never happened to my
desktop pc. My CPU is Intel Core Duo, Memory 494.3MB, and Ubuntu release
is gutsy (7.10) and Gnome version is 2.20.1.

This doesn't happen always. It sometimes happens when I try to upload
files via FTP using FileZilla or KftpGrabber or via HTTP using Firefox.
The computer completely freezes and I get no errors and I have to turn
off the laptop holding the power button.

Please tell me what I need to do.
