Thanks to all the recent contributors to this bug report. Please
remember to post:

* The exact error messages you're getting
* The output from dmesg
* The output from lspci -vvnn

This is important, as currently this is a bug report for the DV5
specifically. If it turns out that it is actually a problem with a
particular kernel driver (say for example ICH9 Sata) which effects a
NUMBER of HP laptops then your exact error messages and lspci output
will help us determine this.
