[Bug 194650] Re: computer locks up using rt61pci

Can someone give some instructions on how to use the backports driver? I
installed the linux-modules-backports-<kernel> package, but it prevents
me from logging in -- after GDM all I see is a white screen with the
mouse cursor, and all I can do is log into failsafe terminal and remove
the package, taking me back to square #1.
