Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image

Feature request: on Ubuntu (Hardy) there is currently the choice between
Suspend-To-Ram (sleeping) and Suspend-To-Disk. It would be nice if a
notebook would automatically switch to STD if it has been sleeping in
STR mode for like 30 minutes. That way, one could always just close the
notebook lid and be sure that the notebook will quickly wakeup in the
next half hour yet will not completely drain the battery.

** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
