^ I agree, it is a problem that can/should be solved by the Ubuntu team,
whether they caused it or not.

Even if it wasn't their fault, they should still fix it because it would
make Ubuntu much more credible. (But I very much suspect that it is
their fault)

As much as I appreciate Ubuntu for introducing me to Linux, I must say
that I am losing faith in the developers. They make great software, but
they overlooked this one serious problem.
