I have the same here, i try to plug my phone Sony K790 (work fine until
kernel 2.6.24-16-generic) and lsusb return only laptop cam

$ lsusb
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 0c45:62c0 Microdia 
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

$ uname -a
Linux clbr 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
