Still present with Hardy for me on the IDE DVD drive: 
UDMA modes: udma0 udma1 *udma2 udma3 udma4 
[   41.718086] ata9.00: limited to UDMA/33 due to 40-wire cable
Attaching dmesg / lspci -vvn / hdparm -i /dev/scd1.
