I own a bcm4318 too and it works after running a skript. See my comments

There are so many bug reports about bcm43xx that I get the impression
... we don't know in where to post. At least for the bcm4318 I can
verify that it works using the refered skript. If more users can verify
that ..we could distinguish this problem from other bugs.
