[Bug 146986] linux-xen fails on amd64, unbootable, not recognized by grub

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-xen

Unlike bug 133986, linux-xen is now compiling. But update-grub does not
put the newly generated kernel into the menu.lst. If I put the new
kernel into the menu.lst manually, I get a grub error 13 unrecognized
executable when trying to boot. This is on AMD64.
