Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image-generic
I've downloaded and tried Kubuntu daily snapshot (it should be
20070914). I have observed the following problems which look related to
unionfs:
1) apt-get install won't work unless I do the following:
cp -a /var/cache/apt /tmp
mount -o bind /tmp/apt /var/cache/apt
2) python install crashed with a kernel oops in what looked like an
unionfs function.
I find it worth signalling that, under kubuntu Feisty, cvs fails because
it cannot determine its current directory:
cognac ~/c/pari % cvs update
cvs [update aborted]: cannot get working directory: No such file or directory
(there is a possible workaround using mount -o bind, but it's not very
clean...).
