[Bug 47462] Re: While booting, fails to load hardware drivers

Another 'me too' on a machine that has been dist-upgraded from
Dapper->Edgy->Feisty - though in my case the system boots fine.  I don't
run usplash and booted without 'quiet' and there doesn't seem to be any
obvious error message displayed then, nor in the dmesg output.
