You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Kaffeine doesn't detect my dvb key anymore, whereas I've recompiled the
kernel modules and firmware for the last kernel (from linuxtv website,
M. Rechberger repository, http://linuxtv.org/hg/~mrechberger/v4l-dvb). I
think that it doesn't come from kaffeine but from dvb pilots. Here is
the dmesg output about my dvb key detection :

After this, dvb-utils (dvb net particularly) are doing weird things :

DVB Network Interface Manager
Version 1.1.0-TVF (Build Thu Sep 28 12:10:53 2006)
Copyright (C) 2003, TV Files S.p.A

Device: /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0
Error: couldn't open device /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0: 2 No such file or directory

And my dvb system is not detected, whereas it works very great with the
first version of 2.6.17-10-generic kernel.

         Status: Invalid
