Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-xen
Fresh install of Gutsy server with only ubuntu-xen-server installed.
Grub entries are correct, when trying to boot the kernel 2.6.22-14-xen
it hangs directly after hitting Enter in Grub. Output before freezing:
, <0x100000:0xa2480:0x50b80>, shtab=0x1f3078 [Multiboot-module @
0x1f4000, 0x333134 bytes]
This is a system with 3GB of memory and a Core 2 Duo proc, on the same
system with the desktop version of Gutsy (again fresh install with
ubuntu-xen-desktop) I get the error message from grub "Selected item
cannot fit memory"
I assume there is a problem with the xen kernels, the standard kernels
boot and run fine.
** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
