[Bug 161164] Atheros card don't work with 2.6.22-14-generic kernel

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-generic

- using standart kernel of 7.10 causes the following problem:
 I can see WLAN networks, but I'm not able to connect (it doesn't mather if they are secured or not)
I'm using a PCI card with a Atheros 5212 chipset

- then I tried the realtime-kernel-package (linux-rt):
Everything worked out of the box, like it should, I'm able to connect etc.

I don't know if this is a problem of the kernel itself or the
restricted-modules
