Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kernel-package

Today I built a custom kernel, revision 2. When I went to install the
.deb, I got the usual warning you get:

You are attempting to install a kernel image (version 2.6.15-7-custom-art)
However, the directory /lib/modules/2.6.15-7.custom-art still exists.
....
Do you want to stop now? [Y/n]

When I pressed 'n', it installed anyway. I ran dpkg again and this time answered 'Y' and it quit.

Basically it looks like the behaviors are reversed. This seems serious.

I'm using kernel-package 9.001ubuntu15 on Dapper.
