Hello Nicola,

I think I've finally got somewhere...

Latest 4.17.1 OBP was installed (but no real benefit there on the
SB1500) BUT setting the boot env to use cdrom disk net and then power
off the system (remove plug as well !), The reboot with cd in place did
allow me to boot etch and all then went pretty well (except for lack of
XVR500 display drivers :-) )
