I am having the same issue here on Feisty. When using DHCP needed to use
dhclient to reconnect after a drop from wireless router (DLink). As a
workaround, I am using a static IP, but problem still occurs.

I have tested the break in connection by pinging the router and cable
modem (two concurrent sessions). I have seen the round trip delay exceed
10 seconds during the hiccup.
