[Bug 118987] Nokia 5300 USB Mass Storage disconnects semi-randomly

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux

Tested on two physically separate 5300s with different memory cards.

Connecting a Nokia 5300 in USB Mass Storage mode works fine in a file
browser. When Rhythmbox is running, however, it will attempt to probe
the contents of the volume and will eventually stop finding new files. A
minute or so later, the connection appears to terminate with a
notification reading "Unsafe device removal". It seems to me that this
may be a bug in the Linux kernel, or perhaps just an adverse response to
something from the phone hardware.

If anyone knows of any way to further debug this, I'd appreciate some
help! For now, here is a kernel log detailing various operations with
the storage device. I'm sorry it couldn't be more specific, I'm doing
this remotely!

Cheers
