Hi Jérôme,

Yes, the problem with the linux image updates still persist. I updated
the kernel yesterday to the latest (2.6.15-27.50) and can still not boot
from it. The only kernel i can boot from is still 2.6.12-9 which is
working okay.

I have downloaded the last two versions of Ubuntu for PowerPC (7.04  and
the previous release), neither of which have worked on this G4. Aside
from the graphics card, there isn't anythng exceptional about the
computer at  all.
