[Bug 48624] T41p freezes when swap battery for CD player

Public bug reported:

This is Dapper, on an IBM T41p laptop.

I take that battery out, put the CD player in: hard freeze.

I have actually *never* seen a Linux system handle the swapping of CD
player for battery correctly:  I have run Mandrake on this laptop, and
also on a Dell Latitude.

         Status: Unconfirmed
