Public bug reported:

With a stock Ubuntu 6.10 bootCD, or SMPenabled 6.06 kernel, my system freezes at startup
with no errors or any sign of faults. Except of course from the fact that i can in no way
interact with the computer. It doesnt react to the mouse nor the keyboard at all.
