Public bug reported:

After installing a generic kernel I wished to get rid of an old 386
kernel that I was running. Upon attempting to remove it via synaptic a
warning came up. I'd paste the text but for some reason the text is
unselectable (perhaps that's another bug?). The paragraph that didn't
make sense was this:

"I repeat, this is very dangerous. If at all in doubt, answer Yes. If
you know exactly what you are doing, and are prepared to hose your
system, then answer No."

The dialog in question only has a Close button and the dialog behind it
only has Back, Forward and Cancel buttons. This warning was probably
made for a text interface but it's recommendation is almost reversed
when viewed from the GUI.

** Affects: kernel-package (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
